Our landscapers visit us on Wednesdays.
They may spray for weeds in the hardscapes and in planters beds using Avenger Organic during this time. Their personal are trained by a CA State Ag Inspector who is in charge of ensuring any company using chemicals operates safely and applies the appropriate chemical in the appropriate amount and reports the use to the state on a monthly basis. There are three levels of toxicity when referring to chemicals; from least harmful to most harmful is Caution, Warning and Danger. They use only chemicals labeled as Caution.
Occasionally they do a broad spray with Turflon for weeds in the lawn, in which case they should post a notice in the area. It is recommend to stay off the grass until the chemical has dried.
