Last year the board began pursuing a project to replace most of the grass areas in the community with low-water plants. Unfortunately, the vendor we were working with decided to abandon the project, and after getting new project bids we’ve determined that the cost to complete this project would be 5x the original cost. Based on this, the board has decided to cancel this project, and we will be keeping the current grassy areas.
(For those who might be worried, no costs were ever incurred for this project.)
